Did you seriously suggest making a vodka old fashioned? Isn’t…isn’t that just a spiked Angostura Bitters?

There is actually a vodka old-fashioned on the menu at Gitane restaurant in SF.

The lead bartender there says it’s a great way to get vodka drinkers interested in classic cocktails.
You could also think of it as a sweetened Pink Gin if that helps…
